Go to Horning Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Horning Reservoir is Mollala River - North Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sandy Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Springwater Golf Course not far from Horning Reservoir. So much enjoyable stuff close to Horning Reservoir, clearly incredible. Horning Reservoir is not the only place close by, Cedar Reservoir is a close

| | by lake, and if you need a site to stay Howard Johnson Gresham is a perfect choice.
Summertime highs at Horning Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Horning Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the High Camp Trail is great fun, and Horning Reservoir is not far at all from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. | |

Horning Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Horning Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Northwest Land
Management is a delightful site for that; you can run the rapids of Clear Creek. It's a splendid idea to stop by Bittner Creek, it's in close proximity to Horning Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Baty Silver King Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Pine Crest Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Horning Reservoir
has to offer, you can camp at Milo Mciver State Park.
Horning Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.
