Throughout the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Hornet Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hornet Reservoir during the winter commonly sink into the 20's. Bull Spring is a great local attraction; going for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail is always a good adventure. Now, you may feel that's a lot but       there's even more amusing things to do here in the Blue Mountains. Camping at Little Summit Campground is always a great experience; not far from Hornet Reservoir you'll find Antelope Reservoir which is a picturesque lake. Fish House Inn is a perfect place to get some rest; the Owl Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. At Hornet Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least                  moisture. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hornet Reservoir you come across the Coffeepot Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and camping is available at Lonesome Spring Campground.
