Dry Creek flows through this region, and you can run the rapids of Rogue River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Alco Trail; camping at Hoover Pond Number Three is perfect fun, Jackson County Parks and Rec is a perfect local campground. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Hoover Pond Number Three. A delightful site for whitewater paddling near Hoover Pond Number Three is Big Butte Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Eagle Trailer Park is a great location to camp.
