     The beauty of Hoover Pond Number One attracts many people from all around. Dry Creek is a pleasant place to visit, and La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hoover Pond Number One is a site with many visitors from Medford, and camping is available at Lakewood RV Park. Stimpson Gulch is next to Hoover Pond Number One and is a wonderful spot, and the skiing at Mt. Ashland is wonderful.

   wonderful. There's whitewater on Big Butte Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Hoover Pond Number One will keep you coming back over and over. For you golfers we recommend close by Eagle Point Golf Course, and if you get bored of Hoover Pond Number One you could also pop by nearby  
               Hoover Reservoirs.
That right there is plenty of fun things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Near Hoover Pond Number One you stumble on the Mount Ashland Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and why not camp at Eagle Trailer Park since you're here at Hoover Pond Number One. Having a great time at Hoover Pond Number One is uncomplicated. Hoover Pond Number Two is a nearby lake that you could explore, and going for a hike on the Chicago Trail is always a great adventure.
Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River; there are great places to look at along the Alco Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hoover Pond Number One, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Hoover Pond Number One. If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
