Homestead Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Homestead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bigfoot Lodge and Trailer Court is a glorious site for that, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a good panorama of Lenhart Butte from Homestead

The Old Baldy Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Homestead Lake, and Brownell Spring is a stunning place to explore while you're at Homestead Lake. moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Homestead Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. And if that's not sufficient,
there's plenty more to do near Homestead Lake. While you're here at Homestead Lake you can take a hike along the Eagle Creek Cutoff; if you get bored of Homestead Lake you could also visit nearby Hope Lake. Trout Creek is a splendid
local stream, and you can run the rapids of Bull Run. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Homestead Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest
is a nice local campground, and there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sandy Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail.
