Summertime at Homesite Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Homesite Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Wallowa Mountains. Stay the night at Union Creek Campground, and after a long day outdoors Baker City Super 8 Motel is a good place                  to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Lodgepole Trail is a great hiking trail close to Homesite Reservoir, and an exciting thing to go to near Homesite Reservoir is Wirth Dam.
