Ridley Creek is near Homesite Reservoir and is always a bliss to visit, and the West Eagle Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Reservoir is pleasant fun, Union Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains.
Be careful coming to the Wallowa Mountains, you might not ever want to go home
again. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sunridge Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. The scenery at Wirth Dam near Homesite Reservoir is beautiful, and Oregon Trails West RV Park is a tremendous campground here. You
could also check out Wirth Reservoir while you're here at Homesite Reservoir; it's nearby; nearby you come across the Lodgepole Trail which is a good hiking trail.
