Hiking along the Red Lake Trail is glorious fun, obviously you could also stop by Hemlock Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Holst Lake. Have a great hiking adventure along the Hemlock Lake Trail, and the summit of Devils Peak can be seen from Holst Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things       in the Southern Cascade Range. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. All year is a magnificent time in the Southern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; a visit to Crater Lake National Park is worthwhile. Why not camp at Upper South Fork Campground while you're here at Holst Lake; if you've had enough of Holst Lake,                  Finch Lake is nearby. Holst Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Holst Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Holst Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
