This is a popular spot for people from Medford. There's so much to do here at Holmes Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pear Tree RV Park is a great place for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Holmes Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Oregon Roundup Resort. Paddling on Big Butte Creek is so much fun; good skiing awaits you at Mt. Ashland. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount Ashland Trail, and while you're here why not stop by Cliff Gulch. Holmes Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Siskiyou Mountains.
