    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Holmes Reservoir. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Holmes Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Holmes Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Ashland is a wonderful choice; the peak of Baldy can be distinguished from Holmes Reservoir. Be careful coming to Holmes Reservoir,  
   you might not ever want to return home again. A pretty lake like Lowry Reservoir close to Holmes Reservoir is a good place to explore.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Holmes Reservoir. There's some flowing water nearby, Jeffery Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here; there's great hiking along the Copper Trail. So much cool stuff to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains, too great to be true. Do pop by Hilldale Reservoir in the
 
               vicinity of Holmes Reservoir, it's a lovely lake, and if you're into cool geologic marks try Payne Cliffs. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Rogue River in a kayak; golf can be played at Rogue Valley Manor Quail Point Golf Course.
This is a popular spot for people from Medford. There's so much to do here at Holmes Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pear Tree RV Park is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn And Suites Ashland. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Holmes Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Oregon Roundup Resort. Paddling on Big Butte Creek is so much fun; good skiing awaits you at Mt. Ashland.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Mount Ashland Trail, and while you're here why not stop by Cliff Gulch. Holmes Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Siskiyou Mountains. It is very waterless here at Holmes Reservoir commonly; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
