It's always fun to stop by Hinkle Lake. Having a perfect time in the Klamath Mountains is simple. Lots of people from Grants Pass come to Hinkle Lake. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Hinkle Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Klamath River; why not take a little trip to O'Connell Creek if you're here. Since you're here at Hinkle Lake why not visit Bean Gulch, and Bee Flat is a glorious

Hinkle Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Low Gap Trail is always a good adventure. There's so much to do here at Hinkle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Goff Campground is a great place for that. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Klamath Mountains has to offer. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hinkle Lake has to | |

offer, you can camp at Cook and Green Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Indian Creek Klamath Tributary offers some fine whitewater.
Summer at Hinkle Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight
lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Hinkle Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Hinkle Lake mostly gets lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with
most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Arnold Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Hinkle Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Bill Fruit Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
