Hillman Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Hillman Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Roseburg, and Myrtle Creek Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Coast Ranges. Camping at Cow Creek RV Park is always a wonderful experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Mountain Trail. That right there is a load of fun things already but it goes on, the Coast

| | Ranges has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hillman Reservoir; Grayback Trail is a nice local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Umpqua River - South offers some great whitewater.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Scott Pond right next door to Hillman Reservoir is a nice place to stop at; dry warm beds await you at Roseburg Travelodge. Canyon Creek is close to Hillman Reservoir and is always a diversion | |

The yearly rainfall here at Hillman Reservoir is about average; most of the rain falls through November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Hillman Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down
into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Hillman Reservoir all through the wintertime generally descend into the 30's.
So much exciting stuff to do here at Hillman Reservoir,
too great to be true. Good hiking is available along the South Fork Trail; after a long day outdoors Best Western Canyonville Inn And Suites is a great spot to spend a night or two.
