This lake is one of the great places here in the Siskiyou Mountains. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains. Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford is a nice site to get some rest, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Lowry Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Hilldale Reservoir you'll       meet some folks from Medford for sure, and hiking along the Mount Ashland Trail is tremendous fun. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Copper Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Horizon Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hilldale Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's                  while the cold winter nights at Hilldale Reservoir are in the 20's. Getting to Anderson Creek from Hilldale Reservoir is easy, and if you come at the right time of year, Rogue River offers some splendid whitewater.
