This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. Little Pine Inn is a great location to get some rest, and Wickiup Campground is a fine campground here. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Little Mud Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and a short spree to Indian Springs is always worthwhile. Summertime at High Lake arrives with high       temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to High Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a fine time. Go for a hike on the Lake Creek Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Indian Springs Campground is a splendid spot to camp. Yeah, come here to High Lake for a great time. Good hiking                  is available along the Strawberry Basin Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Sag's Motel. There are perfect sites to look at along the Slide Basin Trail; from High Lake you acquire a great vista of Indian Spring Butte. It is very dry here at High Lake mostly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
