All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. Gotta ski! Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a splendid site to do that. For the duration of the summertime months here at High Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for High Lake       tend to be in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Lakeside Motel is a good choice, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Cold Spring Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Skookum Lake Campground, and Clackamas River is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. So many enjoyable things to do here at High                  Lake, too glorious to be true. Dry warm beds await you at All Season's Motel; close by you locate the Thunder Mountain Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Why not camp at Lookout Springs Campground since you're here at High Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring River. High Lake frequently gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
