This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Summertime highs at Hidden Valley Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Hidden Valley Reservoir. Having a pleasant time in the Coast Ranges is painless. A pleasant close by hotel is Sleep Inn & Suites, and a short journey to Burkhart Rapids is always worthwhile.

| | A great place to take a look at close to Hidden Valley Reservoir is Garden Valley; if you come at the right time of year, Umpqua River - North offers some magnificent whitewater. Rivers Vacation Park, and at Hidden Valley Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Coyote Hill. Hidden Valley Reservoir gets lots of water; most of the rain falls all through December, and the driest month is July. But wait, there's
more cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Camping is available at On The River RV Park, and a beautiful lake like Doerner Reservoir is a great location to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to stumble upon some great people
from Roseburg here, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Roseburg Country Club is close by.
