Hidden Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Little Creek Spring; if you need a site to stay Shamrock Lodgettes is a wonderful choice. Beachside State Park is a nice campground nearby, and a brilliant beach close by is Ona Beach. Hidden Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. So many exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. If you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is

| | Crestview Hills Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn Waldport is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Hidden Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Drift Creek; Holly Beach is a beach nearby that you can visit. This lake is so wonderful. Bend is right here. Take a hike on the Horse Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little spree to nearby Yaquina John Point is a great idea; not far from Hidden Lake you'll hit upon Lint Slough Reservoir which is a
delightful lake. Hidden Lake is a pretty wet place usually with lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Summer brings highs in the 60's
to Hidden Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 50's with temperatures at Hidden Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This site, the Coast Ranges, has
so much outdoors cool stuff. Alsea Bay Trailer Park is a great local campground; do explore Alsea River while you're here at Hidden Lake.

Beverly Beach State Park
 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO ...nd we were trying to find our one and only flashlight and while digging for it in our car, we heard some weird brushing sounds along the roadway and when we found the light and put it to where the noise was coming from, we saw a huge beaver carrying a tree limb off into the forrest. We were so shocked at how huge he was! He was the size of a small bear. At first I thought it WAS a bear but my husband said ''no, Baby, don't be scared... It's just a beaver and he wont hurt you. ''
The next morning we were making coffee and waiting for it to perk (a very slow way to make coffee) and the chipmunks were throwing pine cones at us from the tree tops and they actually hit me with one. Then they come down from the trees while we were drinking our coffee and gather up all their pine cones and cart them off. They were just the cutest little things.
That night we set up our four tiki lanterns and sit around the fire pit having some wine coolers and just enjoying each other like we love to do :) kissing and such... And all of a sudden there was some noises in the trees behind our te... |
