Sure, Collins Lake is in the neighborhood; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you crave a little side spree, try Sand Canyon, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Hidden Lake Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the vicinity of Hidden Lake. High Cascade Snowboard Camp is a good local campground.       This lake is so wonderful. Here at Hidden Lake you can catch a glimpse of Multorpor Mountain, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Paradise Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Timberline Lodge is one of those things you just must do, and the Tom Dick Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Hidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Dry warm                  beds await you at Mount Hood Inn, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Hood River - Lake Branch. Yocum Falls is an inspiring site to have a look at while you're here; if you need a site to stay Whispering Woods (Vri) is a pleasant choice. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl if you're here, and Enid Lake is a glorious lake close by. If you're visiting Hidden Lake from Hood River, you won't be the only one; Nanitch Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Throughout the summertime highs here at Hidden Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hidden Lake drop into the 30's.
