Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hickey Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Hickey Reservoir. At Hickey Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go       to Bruner Spring Reservoir since you're here at Hickey Reservoir; it's close by, and Hickey Meadow is a fine location here at Hickey Reservoir. Take a side journey to Hickey Creek, and if you need a site to stay Sky Hook Motel is a good choice. A tour to Hickey Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Berkley Spring; if you came to camp Twin Springs Campground is a good spot to do that. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Dry                  warm beds await you at Oregon Hotel. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a good time. During your trip to Hickey Reservoir you'll meet some people from Prineville for sure; Hickey Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Carrol Campground is a great local campground.
