Summer at Hessel Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Hessel Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Mountain View Golf Course Restaurant Lounge not far from Hessel Reservoir, and Crown Point RV Park is a great campground here.       I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Hessel Reservoir. Best Western Sandy Inn is a great place to get some rest, and hiking along the Washougal Trail is brilliant fun. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. Hessel Reservoir is a tremendous spot to camp, Sandy Riverfront RV Resort is a tremendous spot, and if you need a place to stay Dee's Countryside                  Inn is a magnificent choice. Hessel Reservoir is right by the Fanton Plaza Trail; there are plenty of people from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here at Hessel Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Bull Run has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; the Eagle Creek Cutoff offers hiking at its best. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River; Glendale Ponds is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
