Henrys Reservoir is right by the Beatty Creek Trail, and soar down the rapids of Grande Ronde River in a kayak. Powder River Motel is a good site to get some rest,       and Anthony Lakes is a pleasant local ski area. For the period of the summertime at Henrys Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder of course, usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Henrys Reservoir during the wintertime generally sink into the 20's. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Rock Creek Lake Trail; get soaked paddling on Grande Ronde River. Camping                  is available at North Fork Anthony Campground, and a short trip to Goff Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. An exciting thing to explore in the vicinity of Henrys Reservoir is Wolf Creek Dam; there are other places here than Henrys Reservoir, for example Wolf Creek Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Union Hotel; Henrys Reservoir is not far at all from La Grande. This lake is so wonderful.
