This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Caldwell Creek in the neighborhood of Henry Creek Reservoir is a great idea. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Sandy River is so much fun; hiking along the West Zigzag Mountain Trail is great fun. If the weather is brilliant here at Henry Creek       Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Cool Creek Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Timberline Lodge is a glorious place to do that. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do close to Henry Creek Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Zigzag River, and if you came for an overnight stay Bighorn Campground is a splendid site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Flag Mountain can be spotted from Henry Creek Reservoir; if you need a spot to stay Whispering Woods                  (Vri) is a great choice. You clearly have to have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Flag Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods Resort. Camping is available at Pioneer Tollgate Campground, and the slopes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl are so inviting nobody can resist. Henry Creek Reservoir commonly gets a good deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Henry Creek Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
