Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Camping at Hemlock Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and one of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Hemlock Lake is Devils Peak. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Just can't get enough       of Hemlock Lake. Finch Lake is a tremendous lake right next door to Hemlock Lake; there are brilliant sites to explore along the King Spruce Trail. During the days of summer at Hemlock Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hemlock Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. A glorious spot to camp here at Hemlock Lake is                  Upper South Fork Campground; going for a hike on the Red Lake Trail is always a fine adventure. You absolutely have to like the Southern Cascade Range. Crater Lake National Park is a fine place close to Hemlock Lake, and nearby you stumble on the Wickiup Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
