You can run the rapids of Crabtree Creek near Helms Reservoir, and if you're into cool geologic marks try McKinney Bottom. The amount of rainfall that falls at Helms Reservoir is close to the national average; December       is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much exciting stuff to do here at Helms Reservoir, too pleasant to be true. Helms Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Albany-Lebanon, and Fennell Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
