Heller Reservoir is a pretty wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Scappose Airport County Park. Heller Reservoir is located in the Coast Ranges. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever       wanna go home again. Paddling on Rock Creek is so much fun; Heller Reservoir is a pleasant site to camp, Big Eddy County Park is a pleasant site. Mollenhour Creek is a striking stream that is worth going to; the panorama of Bunker Hill is beautiful. Through the months of summer highs here at Heller Reservoir reach the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while Heller Reservoir                  overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful.
