This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Helen Lake generally gets a large amount of rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Juniper Motel is a glorious site to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Little Badger Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of       this region; Helen Lake is close to Paquet Gulch which is without doubt worth checking out. A nice place for whitewater paddling next to Helen Lake is Deschutes River, and hiking along the Ball Point Trail is nice fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Helen Lake while night lows are mostly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Helen Lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable                  things to do in the Central Cascade Range. A good place to camp here at Helen Lake is Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort, and if you're popping by from City of The Dalles, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Wasco County Fairgrounds, and you can run the rapids of White River. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Helen Lake.
