Heinen Pond is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. Heinen Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Heinen Pond is a good place to camp, Scappose Airport County Park is a good place; if you need a spot to stay Mc Cormick Hotel is a delightful choice. There are plenty of people from Longview-Kelso here       at Heinen Pond, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Heinen Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Heinen Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. All the outdoors entertaining things close                  to Heinen Pond will keep you coming back many times. Enjoy a round of golf at St Helens Golf Course not far from Heinen Pond, and some of the water close by flows, like Alder Creek. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges.
