So much exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Rock Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. This spot, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you came for an overnight stay Horning's Fishing & Picnic is a delightful site to camp, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nehalem River. All the outdoors       exciting stuff close to Heesacker Reservoir will keep you coming back persistently. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sunset Grove Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western University Inn. Heesacker Reservoir usually gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Hillsboro is a magnificent choice,                  and a lake close by is Pecks Pond. Heesacker Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Heesacker Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Heesacker Reservoir are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
