Having a fine time in the Wallowa Mountains is trouble-free. Copper Creek Falls is an inspiring location to stop at while you're here, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Trail Creek Trail. Heart Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Very splendid water scenery is available at Lookingglass Lake Dam right next door to Heart Lake; after a long day       outdoors Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. You get a brilliant vista of Hummingbird Mountain from Heart Lake, and do stop by Cached Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice, and since you're here why not have a look at Bench Canyon. During the warm months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Heart Lake. Summer overnight lows sink                  down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while Heart Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. On a great day at Heart Lake you can take a hike along the Main Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Heart Lake has to offer, you can camp at Main Eagle Bridge Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. Copper Creek is a nice local stream. There's so much to do here at Heart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a great site for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. You'll find a beautiful lake called Arrow Lake near Heart Lake, and going for a hike on the Fake Creek Trail is always a fine adventure.
