This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. At Heart Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Heart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Blue River in a kayak, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to       your feet. Don’t forget to take a look at Lost Prairie while you're here at Heart Lake; a delightful lake like Crescent Lake is a nice location to have a look at. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless! Looking for some flowing water? Try Echo Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Smith Prairie Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Heart Lake.                  Heart Lake is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a delightful location to camp nearby, and hiking along the Browder Ridge Trail is magnificent fun. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Stay the night at Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park, and Cougar Lake is a tremendous lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake. Paddling on Horse Creek is so much fun, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Crescent Mountain Trail.
