A visit to Heard Reservoir is always a good idea. If you came to camp Pine Ridge Park is a great spot to do that; Americas Best Inns-Portland Aloha is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Cooper Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Heard Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites West is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not. There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible.... |
