Why not stop by Hayward Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Grants Pass; why not camp at Grants Pass/Sunny Valley KOA while you're here at Hayward Pond. There's magnificent hiking along the Grayback Trail; if you get bored of Hayward Pond you could also go to close by Wolf Creek Pools. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. | | place to get some rest, and soar down the rapids of Grave Creek in a kayak. From a rainfall point of view Hayward Pond is a rather common site; most of the rain falls during December while July is generally the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Fir Point is in close proximity and always brilliant to pop by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hayward Pond; South Fork Trail is a great local trail. Yep, outdoors | |

Pond through the summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Hayward Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Hayward
Pond. A good location to camp here at Hayward Pond is Creekside Rv Resort, and do put some time aside to spend at Bernstein Spring since you're here at Hayward Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Creek is a stream that you may come across while here, and the Coffee Pot Trail offers hiking at its best.
