If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hayward Pond. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Umpqua River - South, and you are close to Fir Point if you're here. Hayward Pond gets a normal amount of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. So many exciting things to do at Hayward Pond, so little time. | | Western Canyonville Inn And Suites, and there's wonderful hiking along the South Fork Trail. There's so much to do here at Hayward Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Creekside Rv Resort is a fine place for that, and you'll discover a beautiful lake called Superior Log Pond. During the summertime months at Hayward Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are | |

generally in the 40's with temperatures at Hayward Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Bernstein Spring is a good local attraction, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hayward
Pond; Coffee Pot Trail is a delightful local trail. So many entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Cedar Creek is close to Hayward Pond and is always a joy to go to, and if you need a place to stay Grants
Pass Travelodge is a great choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Grave Creek. A striking lake like Dollar Log Ponds close to Hayward Pond is a brilliant place to stop at; Hayward Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than
a day at, Grants Pass/Sunny Valley KOA is a pleasant local campground. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. People from Grants Pass love to come to Hayward Pond; great hiking is available along the Grayback Trail.
