    Many people like to go to Hawks Lake. Through the summertime months at Hawks Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hawks Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Four Point Spring, and a brilliant close by hotel is Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel. The fine folks of Klamath  
   Falls like to hang out nearby, and a pleasant spree to Long Prairie is a great way to spend an afternoon.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay S'Ocholis Campground is a good place to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Long Prairie Reservoir. Hawks Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Hawks Lake.
You'll really wish for
 
               more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Southern Cascade Range. Potter's Trailer Park is a great campground nearby, and not far from Hawks Lake you'll hit upon Harris Reservoir which is a lovely lake. At Hawks Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is when it's the driest.

Bird watching at it's best. Yellow wing and red wing black birds nest in the tule reeds of this little lake into the middle of August. Ducks nest on the banks in Spring. It is still half full, 40 acres in late summer. In early Spring you will find the lake full at 80 acres if normal rain has fallen during the winter. Great for canoe. Private Lake.
