Through the warm months highs here at Hartley Reservoir get into the 90's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hartley Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Riverside Inn Resort is a wonderful choice; pleasant hiking is available along the Lake Mountain Trail. There's some       flowing water nearby, China Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here; Royal Trailer Park is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Hartley Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Grants Pass for sure, and a lake nearby is Remey Reservoir. All the outdoors fun things in the vicinity of Hartley Reservoir will keep you coming back again and again. Don't leave Hartley Reservoir without first going for a hike                  along the Oregon Caves Trail, and if you have time, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. A normal amount of rain falls here at Hartley Reservoir; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
