If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Hart Reservoir. A brilliant place like Red Prairie here at Hart Reservoir is too nice to miss. There's some interesting stuff to see at Joe Crow Dam in close proximity to Hart Reservoir; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. High temperatures at Hart Reservoir       throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hart Reservoir. Take a side trip to Gooseneck Creek, and do visit Downing Pond, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hart Reservoir is good fun, Mulkey RV Park is a good local campground, and after a long day outdoors Paragon                  Motel is a great location to spend a night or two. Having a delightful time in the Coast Ranges is simple.
