Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Harpold Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Merrill Motel, and a short visit to McCoy Spring is always worthwhile. During the summertime at Harpold Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime brings       highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Harpold Reservoir are in the 20's. Harpold Reservoir is generally a pretty dried out place; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Harpold Reservoir is tremendous fun, Shady Lanes Trailer Park is a tremendous local campground, and Lava Beds National Monument is a pleasant national park.
