    What a nice lake Hammel Reservoir is. Lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Todd Reservoir in the vicinity of Hammel Reservoir; the top of Mosser Mountain is easily seen from Hammel Reservoir. At Hammel Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Hammel Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not  
   take a refreshing hike along the Chicago Trail, and a magnificent close by hotel is Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport.
The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is great! You're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Medford here; an afternoon playing golf at Eagle Point Golf Course is always a joy. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Hammel
 
               Reservoir.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Fly Casters RV Park is a great local campground, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Rogue River. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Hammel Reservoir is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Expo Lake RV Park is a glorious place to camp nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Butte Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Tison Trail, and if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a wonderful choice.
Take a side journey to Langel Creek; a gorgeous lake like Hamel Reservoir Number 2 is a wonderful spot to have a look at. At Hammel Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Murderer Gulch is a splendid spot to discover, and the Alco Trail offers hiking at its best.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
