Hamilton Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Hamilton Reservoir is brilliant enough to       spend more than a day at, Driftwood - Siuslaw National Forest is a brilliant local campground; you can run the rapids of Marys River. A great site to pop by in the vicinity of Hamilton Reservoir is Staats Hollow; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Hamilton Reservoir has to offer.
