If you need a site to stay Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a perfect choice, and camping at Expo Lake RV Park is always a perfect experience. Good hiking is available along the Chicago Trail; you're possibly hooked on lakes, Hammel Reservoir is one of those close by. And that's not everything you can do here in the Southern Cascade Range. For you golfers we  
   recommend close by Eagle Point Golf Course; if you crave a little side visit, try Murderer Gulch.
So many entertaining things close to Hamel Reservoir Number 2, definitely unbelievable. If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
