This lake is so wonderful. Siletz River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are plenty of folks from Corvallis here at Hamar Lake. Why not have a look at nearby Cedar Creek since you're here at Hamar Lake; Hamar Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fir Ridge Camp Grounds is a great local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Hamar Lake a relatively wet location; most of the       rain falls through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Hamar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. For the duration of the summer months here at Hamar Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Hamar Lake descend into the 30's.
