There's so much to do here at Halfway Waterhole that you need to camp here for a while, Little Summit Campground is a great location for that, and going for a hike on the Coffeepot Trail is always a good adventure. Go for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail, and Trail Basin is a delightful spot here at Halfway Waterhole. You completely have to go for Halfway Waterhole. If you need       a place to stay Fish House Inn is a perfect choice. If you came to camp Buck Spring Campground is a great place to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Gollum Reservoir. At Halfway Waterhole you don’t see much precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is September. Near Halfway Waterhole you locate the Owl Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; Angell                  Butte is picturesque and can be distinguished from here.
