     Not much rain falls here at Haines Pond Number Two; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is when it's the driest. So much amusing stuff in the Blue Mountains, just extraordinary. A day on the slopes of Anthony Lakes is just what you need, and a lovely lake like Sackos Pond is a tremendous site to pop by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Haines Pond Number Two while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime  
   highs are mostly in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Haines Pond Number Two temperatures fall to the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Snowslide Canyon is a magnificent place to spend some time at, and a magnificent site to camp here at Haines Pond Number Two is Rocky Ford Campground. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Rock Creek Reservoir near Haines Pond Number Two; the Rock Creek Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Whohoo,
 
               so much cool stuff in one place! Haines Pond Number Two is great! If you need a place to stay Knights Inn Baker City is a wonderful choice; camping is available at North Fork Anthony Campground.
Getting to Marble Creek from Haines Pond Number Two is trouble-free, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Elkhorn Crest Trail. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Baker City.
And that's not everything you can do here in the Blue Mountains. You're sure to run into some nice folks from La Grande here; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail.
