There's so much to do here at Hafco Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, John Neal Memorial County Park is a fine site for that, and the Snow Peak Mill City Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hafco Reservoir you locate the Crabtree Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Central       Cascade Range has it all. You'll meet a lot of folks from Albany-Lebanon here, and it's a fine idea to visit Bilyeu Creek. For the period of the summertime at Hafco Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Hafco Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Oregon Garden Resort is a glorious                  place to spend a night or two, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Crabtree Creek. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Hafco Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hafco Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Silver Falls Conference Center, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Rogers Mountain Ranch Reservoir. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a good spot to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Santiam Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Ziebart Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Thomas Creek. From a rain point of view Hafco Reservoir is a pretty typical spot; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is regularly the driest month.
