     Oregon has many beautiful lakes and H S Johnson Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at H S Johnson Reservoir generally tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at H S Johnson Reservoir dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Little Pine Inn is a magnificent  
   location to spend a night or two, and camping at Ray Cole Campground is always a fine experience.
Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains. A spree to Big Glade Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings, and going for a hike on the Fawn Spring Trail is always a great adventure. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Thompson Gulch is a splendid place to
 
               look at, and don't leave H S Johnson Reservoir without first going for a hike along the East Fork Canyon Trail. And if that's not enough there's heaps more cool stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. A magnificent site to camp here at H S Johnson Reservoir is Clyde Holliday, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by H S Johnson Dam.
This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Traveler's Motel, and there are wonderful sites to look at along the Berry Creek Trail. Sugarloaf is trouble-free to spot from H S Johnson Reservoir, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Bull Run Reservoir.
Not much rainfall falls here at H S Johnson Reservoir; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July.
