A visit to Gunners Lakes is always a good idea. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Gunners Lakes. So many cool things in the Coast Ranges, just extraordinary. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Nehalem River, and one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Gunners Lakes is Tater Hill. There's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline people; Gunners Lakes

| | is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Big Eddy County Park is a perfect local campground.
All through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Gunners Lakes; the night is a tad colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Gunners Lakes. After a long day outdoors Forest Grove Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and camping at Scappose Airport | |

County Park is always a tremendous experience. Gunners Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western University Inn. Lakes are glorious; Floeter Pond is
a lake that's near Gunners Lakes. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gunners Lakes a wet site; December is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture.
