For the duration of the months of summer at Guiles Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's while Guiles Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. The high level of rainfall makes Guiles Lake a quite wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain while       July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Some close by water includes Dairy Creek; float down the rapids of Kalama River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Aarons Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Sauvie Cove Store and RV Park is a delightful campground here. The scenery at Sauvie Island Dam close to Guiles Lake is beautiful; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lewis River - East Fork. You'll wish for more hours                  in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Guiles Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pine Crest Golf Course; Orcadia Hotel is a brilliant site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Mc Cormick Hotel is a nice place to spend a night or two; there are swamps here too, Petes Slough is close at hand. If you're going to Guiles Lake from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, you won't be the only one; Lyons Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful.
