Very tremendous water scenery is available at Ford Farms Dam close to Griffith Reservoir, and some of the water close by flows, like Job Swale Creek. The yearly rainfall here at Griffith Reservoir is about average; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Griffith Reservoir is great enough to spend                  more than a day at, Fern Ridge Shores is a great local campground; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willamette River.
