If you are traveling by, why not stop by Grenet Lake. You can see Duffy Butte from Grenet Lake; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - North. This lake is so wonderful. Marion Creek is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Grenet Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Grenet Lake usually gets a great deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here;
July is when it's the driest. Grenet Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. If the weather is great here at Grenet Lake, you can go for a hike along the Marion Lake Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Hoodoo close
by.
This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant trip to Duffy Prairie is a glorious way to spend an afternoon; if you came to camp Tombstone Prairie Campground is a good location to do that.
