     Grenet Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Grenet Lake, you'll stumble on Green Peak Lake which is a stunning lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Grenet Lake; Blue Lake Trail is a nice local trail. Grenet Lake is right by the Marion Lake Trail, and at Grenet Lake you can see Duffy Butte. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Whitewater paddling is not  
   for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Santiam River - North, and a magnificent site to camp here at Grenet Lake is Suttle Lake Resort and Marina.
Lodge at Suttle Lake is a good site to get some rest, and do set aside some time for Duffy Prairie since you're here at Grenet Lake. Having a tremendous time at Grenet Lake is simple. The Pine Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and Grenet Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tombstone
 
               Prairie Campground is a great local campground. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two; the skiing at Hoodoo is magnificent. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a great time. Lakes? Sure, Mowich Lake is close at hand; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Marion Creek.
Throughout the warmest time of the year at Grenet Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Grenet Lake. Grenet Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
