The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Green Point Upper Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Hood River; Timberlake Campground is a great campground nearby. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in close proximity to Green Point Upper Reservoir. An afternoon playing golf at Hood River Golf       Course is always a bliss. Green Point Upper Reservoir gets a lot of water; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Hood River is a brilliant choice, and why not head up to Cooper Spur and strap some skis to your feet. A fine spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Green Point Upper Reservoir is Little White Salmon River, and Green                  Point Upper Reservoir is right by the Wyeth Trail. A day on the slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows is just what you need; if you've had enough of Green Point Upper Reservoir, Green Point Lower Reservoir is close by. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. A magnificent close by hotel is Best Western Hood River Inn; Dead Point Spring is a great local attraction. Throughout the warm days of summer at Green Point Upper Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's.
