Through the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Green Point Upper Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Green Point Upper Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Hood River; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little White Salmon River. Hood River Golf Course is       a perfect golf course nearby; Green Point Lower Reservoir is a good lake nearby. Man, is there lots of cool things to do right next door to Green Point Upper Reservoir. Hit the slopes at Mt. Hood Meadows around here. Green Point Upper Reservoir is a relatively wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Central Cascade                  Range. A picturesque lake like Searra Casa Reservoir close to Green Point Upper Reservoir is a great spot to explore, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dead Point Spring. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you come at the right time of year, Hood River - West Fork offers some brilliant whitewater; there are great spots to discover along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. Timberlake Campground is a delightful local campground, and going for a hike on the Wyeth Trail is always a wonderful adventure. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Wind Mountain Resort is a magnificent campground nearby; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Upper Green Point Dam. Having a tremendous time in the Central Cascade Range is painless. If you need a place to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a wonderful choice, and Green Point Upper Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Hood River. This lake is so wonderful.
