If you are in Hood River county it's always a good idea to stop by Green Point Lower Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Columbia Gorge Hotel is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and there's wonderful hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. A great location for whitewater paddling near Green Point Lower Reservoir is Little White Salmon River,

| | and scenic scenery and delightful skiing is what you acquire at Mt. Hood Meadows. Gotta ski! Cooper Spur is a nice site to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Green Point Lower Reservoir; Nestor Peak Trail is a tremendous local trail.
