Green Peter Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Menears Bend Campground       is a delightful local campground, and hiking along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail is delightful fun. High temperatures at Green Peter Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Green Peter Lake tend to be in the 30's. Get dripping wet paddling on Wiley Creek, and Green Peter Dam is stunning.                  Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Central Cascade Range.
