There's great hiking along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, and there are plenty of people from Albany-Lebanon here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Green Peter Lake; Crabtree Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there's whitewater on Wiley Creek for all you adrenaline people. During the warm days of summer highs here at Green Peter Lake get into the 80's. Summer night lows       plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Green Peter Lake. A great deal of precipitation falls at Green Peter Lake; most of the rain falls through December; July on the other hand is the driest. Pilkens reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There's so much to do here at Green Peter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Foster Lake Campground is a great place for that.                  This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Santiam River - Middle, and while you're here, you could also visit lovely Billy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Michigan Heights Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can stay the night at Menears Bend Campground. Green Peter Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be.
