Green Peter Lake usually gets a great deal of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Green Peter Lake. You can take a little trip to Green Peter Dam since you're here at Green Peter Lake; camping is available at Foster Lake Campground. This       lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Michigan Heights Trail; Big Alder Creek is in the vicinity of Green Peter Lake and is always a delight to have a look at. Pilkens reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit; camping at Menears Bend Campground is always a glorious experience. All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. There are nice places to discover along the Crabtree Lake Trail; going for a hike on the                  Snow Peak Mill City Trail is always a good adventure. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too perfect to be true. At Green Peter Lake you always meet someone from Albany-Lebanon, and glide down the rapids of Santiam River - Middle in a kayak. If you come at the right time of year, Wiley Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and do check out Billy Lake, it's a stunning lake.
