Many people like to go to Green Peak Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Santiam River - North for all you adrenaline kick people, and you can go for a hike on the Marion Lake Trail. The warmest time of the year at Green Peak Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are

| | usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Green Peak Lake.
A pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake; picturesque scenery and wonderful skiing is what you acquire at Hoodoo. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Alice Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Detroit Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two. There | |

are some magnificent whitewater spots on Marion Creek. There's so much to do here at Green Peak Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Springs Resort is a great spot for that.
So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central
Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Green Peak Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground, and there are fine sites to look at along the Pine Ridge Trail. Much precipitation
falls at Green Peak Lake; through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many cool things near Green Peak Lake, absolutely fantastic. Do set aside
some time for Duffy Prairie if you're here at Green Peak Lake; the panorama of Duffy Butte is scenic.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Blue Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure.
